"Batman: The Killing Joke" is a controversial work that depicts his origin and madness ruled by a cruel fate, and Batman's madness that surpasses even his.
The story was born in 1988 by the hands of comic world magician Alan Moore, with the delicate yet powerful touch distinctive of artist Brian Bolland, similar to copperplate engraving. The dark serious taste of this comic has greatly influenced the other works of the Batman series to the present day and still continues to do so.
The vivid Joker depicted in the story has been turned into a figure based on the famous cover art that was much talked about among American comic fans!
Kotobukiya has sculpted him in his violet trench coat, with a classical outfit in the style of a morning suit, as he holds up the camera innocently extorting a smile.
The part close to the base, that is not shown in the original illustration, is decorated by the costume of the "Red Hood Gang" that symbolizes his birth.
