The high-altitude Mark XXI armour is perhaps the most glorious of the Iron Legion. Named after the mythical King Midas who would turn everything he touched into gold, Iron Man’s Midas Armor featured a gold and silver plated panels that paid tribute to Tony Stark’s comic book Mark 01 V2 armour. Part of Iron Man’s Iron Legion, the Midas Armour was activated in Iron Man 3 as part of the House Party Protocol, and subsequently destroyed during the Clean Slate Protocol.

Hot Toys have recreated this classic Iron Man armour in 1/6th scale with their new Hot Toys exclusive Midas action figure! Made from die-cast material, this epic Midas Iron Man figure faithfully recreates the design of the suit as it is seen in Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3. Painted in different shades of metallic gold, silver and bronze colour, the overall appearance of the highly detailed features additional chrome painting to bring out the finer armour details.

The Midas suit features an LED light-up helmeted head and Arc Reactor, with additional LED functions scattered throughout the upper body and back. With over 30 points of articulation, Midas stands just shy of 13” tall and comes with a variety of interchangeable armour pieces, interchangeable hands and a dynamic figure stand.
