PRE-ORDERS
What is a Pre-order?
A Pre-order is for an item that has not been released yet / come into stock, but you can pre-purchase it to secure your piece.
Pre-order items can be purchased now however they will only be shipped at the stated release date or shortly after. Please note details on item description for lead times of pre-order items.
Why should I pre-order?
We encourage everyone to make pre-orders for items that are not released yet, as sometimes we may presell out for the item(s), and by making a pre-order will secure your piece.
We do offer 2 types of payment for our pre-orders.
Payment Option 1: We accept a $50 / $100 NRD Deposit with the option to either pay your item off over time by its release date or pay the balance upon the item's release date. We will contact you in prior to the item's release date for the balance for your order. Please email us at sales@scifitoys.com.au if you would like to organise these payments.
Important: All NRD deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable should you change your mind or cancel your order..
Payment Option 2: You can choose to pay this item in full or installment with Lay-buy or Zip Pay. Please note that After Pay is not available for some pre-orders. All these pre-orders using Afterpay will be cancelled with a refund.
When will I receive the item?
Item(s) will be dispatched to you just before or on the release date. Note that pre-order item(s) may be subject to delays due to the manufacturers' proficiency in quality assurance guarantee. If this happens, we assure to keep you updated via our newsletter. If you have any inquiries regarding your pre-orders, please do not hesitate to email us at sales@scifitoys.com.au
If you purchase a pre-order item along with other in stock item/s, your order will not be shipped out. Your order will be held in dispatch until your pre-order item arrives. If you would like your items to be shipped out separately from your pre-order item, you will need to make two separate purchases.
Preorder Cancellation:
If you wish to cancel a pre-order that required a non-refundable deposit at the time of order placement after 14 days from the date of purchase, you will need to contact sales@scifitoys.com.au to complete the cancellation. Please keep in mind that your non-refundable deposit will not be refunded.
If you wish to cancel a pre-order that didn’t require a non-refundable deposit at the time of order placement after 14 days from the date of purchase, you will be charged an admin fee (25% of the original pre order price).
When ordered item arrived. Buyer will be notified via email or phone or social media, Buyers then have 14 days from notification date to settle their outstanding balance.
All unpaid preorder / presale item will be cancelled after 14 days from notification date. and the paid deposit will be considered as termination / cancellation fee)
IMPORTANT: Make sure your payments made online or by phone are made before the due date to allow two business days for processing time.
Price Adjustment
on a very rare occasion, we may need to adjust (+/-) the prices of preordered items based on our Australian currency rate. In these cases, we will notify you and should you wish to cancel your order, you will be entitled to a full refund
